About ACM

I’m ACM and I look forward to sharing my health & fitness journey with all of you.

As a full-time working mom, it has been a challenge to obtain any life accomplishments, be it daily tasks & responsibilities, and even long-term goals.

I had previously lost > 50lbs that derived from coping with grief. It is beyond embarrassment to ever share this because I had made a promise to my best friend, who passed away of colon cancer, to always take care of my health so I wouldn’t have to endure the treatments, test trials, and surgeries she had experienced for > 7 years – she’s my best friend and my mother so it’s shameful to share and even admit that I gave up on myself & broke my promise. It took me a few years to lose >50lbs and it was through mindful nutrition management and simple cardio workout each day. However, somehow my priorities were disoriented again. I had obtained a BA from Seattle University and just recently invested 2.5 years to obtain a Masters in Global Management, but not only did I gain a new degree, I also gained > 20lbs, along with poor health and physical condition. My priorities were too focused on my immediate family, work and school, which drove me to become shortsighted of my health & well-being again.

This is a fitness journey I’ve created to hold myself accountable. Many years from now, when I look back, I can be proud of myself. Most importantly, I look forward to being the best role model for my son.
