You Are Your Own Boss
I was compelled to take control of my own destiny for ME so I’d be able to be in better heath for my family and especially be a role model for my son.
It was emotionally and mentally exhausting to constantly be lethargic and sick. In the past 2.5 years, while actively managing a full-time job & mommy duties, I had earned a Masters in Global Management but also gained > 20lbs. Last year, I was constantly sick with allergies, asthma, sinusitis, and even battled pneumonia for six months. As I fought for my life for six months to recover from pneumonia, I experienced a moment of reflection. I realized my devotion to keep up with a demanding job, mommy duties, and obtain a Graduate degree had significantly compromised my health & well-being. When you’re sick, YOU are the one who’s suffering and YOU are the one who could’ve prevented it, which made me realize that I am ultimately my own boss. I will take control now by reverting back to a healthier & more active lifestyle.
It took me a few months to research & select the most suitable training program that would get me back in shape. I had been religiously working out at a gym regularly, but due to COVID-19 restrictions, my fitness plan had to be altered. I also don’t have a lot of home equipment, except for an old elliptical and a treadmill. I Googled zero equipment workouts and SWEAT popped up with the rest as history.
My will power is pretty high so eating healthier and maintaining portion control isn’t an issue, but I desperately needed professional and REPUTABLE training. SWEAT offered 7 days trial and easy cancellation (email notification or Apple ID) so I enrolled in September 2020. I’ve been relentlessly and religiously following SWEAT trainings since then. I consider it a major achievement for actually DOING something about my health & fitness condition.
Since I haven’t worked out >2.5 years, I decided to enroll with SWEAT BBG Zero Equipment Beginners. The weekly plan included 3 HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) , 2 LISS (Low-Intensity Steady State) and 2 Recovery (stretch & full day break). When I first started training, I could barely complete any exercises and felt absolutely defeated, but today I’m able to complete each training without feeling like I seriously killed myself. Note – Many experienced reviewers indicated BBG Zero Equipment exercises are far more intense and harder than with equipment but eventually you do build strength, stamina and endurance. Every day I feel stronger than I did before.
